Whitney Johnson presents The Tuning of the Elements, a new durational work for string quartet and 8-channel electronics which combines insights from physics and neuropsychology as inspiration for the ensembles performance at the Bond Chapel.

Lea Bertucci will perform a solo set in quadraphonic sound for Alto Saxophone, electronics and tape.  The second set will feature Lea Bertucci in collaboration with Matchess (Whitney Johnson).

In its sixth year, SUMMERSONIC is undergoing a metamorphosis: we've stuffed three weekends worth of concerts into one blow-out afternoon of music by some of the most fascinating musicians working in Chicago right now.
