Option closes out the 2021 season with a performance by the great São Paulo based keyboardist and electronic musician Guilherme Granado. Highly prolific, with collaborations as diverse as Prefuse 73, Rob Mazurek, Naná Vasconcelos and Bill Dixon. About Guilherme Granado
A São Paulo native, Guilherme played and recorded with Mauricio Takara in Hurtmold (4 albums) and a split disc with The Eternals (on Submarine Records). He also works with the Assembleia Ritmica de Pinheiros.
Granado also performs, produces, and records under the name Bodes & Elefantes (3 albums on Submarine Records & Catune).
He has toured South America and Europe with Prefuse 73 and Marcelo Camelo, and has collaborated with artists including Pharoah Sanders, Naná Vasconcelos, Bill Dixon, Roscoe Mitchell, High Priest (Antipop Consortium), Mamelo Sound System, Exploding Star Orchestra, Paulo Santos (Uakti), Mike Ladd, and many others.
Granado has appeared on recordings released by Universal, YB Music, Submarine. Granado is in the vanguard of Brazil’s Electronic Spiritualism Sound Makers.
He is devoted to promoting music, beats and ideas in Brazil.
